Nope. 100% of your dollar always goes directly to the Impact Partner. Visa/Mastercard do charge a card processing fee that must be covered by donors. We do not take a penny of this, and are constantly working on ways to convince the powers that be to reduce these fees.
You betcha. 100%. Including the platform fee. Your donation goes into our Donor Advised Fund (a 501c3 entity) called Dollar Donation Club Fund, a sub-DAF within Legacy Global.
How do I know I can trust this? We built Dollar Donation Club as a result of our own lack of trust in the philanthropic space. That's why we've built a platform that transparently shows you where your money is going, what it's used for, and if it actually resulted in a measurable impact. We've built a world-class vetting team and partners to help us identify the highest leverage solutions to our gnarliest social impact challenges. All Dollar Donation Club campaigns partner with organizations capable of making measurable and verifiable progress toward checking off goals on Humanity's Checklist. Heck yeah they do! Your Impact Points show the amazing amount of good that you have created in the world. Not only that, but you can see yourself on leaderboards and earn badges as you 'level up'.
As a brand member, you will have a Donation Tracker on your profile for every campaign you donate to. The Tracker keeps you updated with the progress of how your donation is used and the impact it actually made! No more guessing, "what happened with our donation?"
Yes. This is awesome.
